Slate Completes Post On 'Limits Of Liberty'

Professor Diarmaid Ferriter of UCD authors and presents an alternative history of Ireland in the 20th century: a penetrating and pointed account of life after independence as it was experienced by ordinary people. It’s the story of how the revolution of 1916-21 was organised and owned by the urban elite, who kept power to the centre and themselves in a painfully conservative new State.

'Limits Of Liberty' is a three part series which airs on RTE 1 Television in June. Audio post-production was recently completed in Slate.

Teens In The Wild - Series 2

In the 2nd Series of the acclaimed 'Teens in the Wild', Clinical psychologist, David Coleman once again takes a group of six troubled teenagers, on a three week activities and therapy course. This series sees David bringing the girls to a remote location in Donegal where mobile phones, television and alcohol are nowhere to be found. It doesn't get more isolated than this. He works with girls, aged 14-17, who are struggling to deal with issues including anger management, bereavement, separation and problems at school - all of which have resulted in strained relations with their parents who are at breaking point.

The series is currently airing on RTE 1 Television on Monday nights at 9.35pm. All audio post-production was completed at Slate.

With a running-time of 25 minutes, the documentary is a lively and enthralling piece, peppered throughout with the enchanting music of W A Mozart.
